Cape Point on the Cape peninsula, Western Cape

The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you will have the option of taking a boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur seals.

We will continue to Chapman’s Peak where you will experience some of the most spectacular views in the world. Drive on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. From there we travel to False Bay and return to Cape Town by way of the Simon's Town naval base where you can visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Travel via Fishhoek and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens where you will be introduced to vegetation of Southern Africa.  Return to Cape Town in the late afternoon.

Price: R 550 per person. Includes entrance fees to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Excludes lunch and optional visits.

The tour will start off with a city tour of  Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa and the historic heart of the country's wine region. Here we will also visit one of the local estates for a wine tasting and cellar tour . We will continue with a scenic drive over Helshoogte Pass and enjoy the view of rolling vineyards and beautiful mountains in the backdrop. We will reach the village of Franschhoek  From there we will drive pass the Nelson's Mandela's former prison to the Paarl area where we will conclude the tour with a wine and cheese tasting.

On this tour you will get a comprehensive city orientation tour starting with with a drive through a city centre where you will learn about the history and see the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall and Parliament. We will stroll through the Company Gardens and visit St. Georges Cathedral. 

You will have a chance to take s  trip up Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting, and cableway ticket for own account) or enjoy the magnificent view from Signal Hill. We will also take a walk through Bo Kaap (Malay Quarter) and see the market on Greenmarket Square.

You will also visit a diamond factory and drive through Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

The tours start in the District Six Museum where you will be introduced to history of the apartheid era. We will then continue to Langa, the oldest existing formal township in the Western Cape where we will meet the community, visit traditional healer and learn about traditions of the Khosa people. We will then drive to Gugulethu township, and Khayelitsha, the largest informal settlement (shacks) where we will go to a “shebeen” (local pub) and one of the inspiring projects.
